Cecil Field Recreational Trail is a 1.9 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Jacksonville, Florida that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs and horses are also able to use this trail.
It's a flat,straight,paved path but still a fun time. I've geocached, rode my bike and just walked it many times.
I really like this trail, I wish the pond was more accessible. The trail itself is a little confusing on where it stops and I wish it was a bit longer but all-in-all its a very good place to walk.
The entire trail is paved but there are side trails you can run on that are dirt. I did a 3 mile run out and back with a couple of side trails to get it up to the 3 mile mark.
