Black Water Cutoff Trail is a 3.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Tarpon Springs, Florida that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
The Wilderness trail was closed. We tried it but it was impassible due to high water. The Black Water Cutoff trail was listed as open but it too was too muddy and wet to use. There were warning signs that said trails may have standing water in rainy season May to October. I guess we were still in the rainy season although the weather was fine. Maybe further in the winter eould work better
