Alexander Springs Loop is a 11 mile loop trail located near Altoona, FL. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for mountain biking.
This is a very easy beginner bike trail, allowing people to enjoy the distance without technical features. On this trail, a couple of trees were down, but it was mostly maintained. It also went through areas of wildfire aftermath and crisscrossed many unofficial "roads" and sidepaths. It is no wonder so many people get lost in ONF. It looks like the same all the way around, and any misroute can take you further into the forest. The trail is also clearly marked, with blazes, posts, and many signs. You can also get nice "views" on top of the rolling hills.
