Not really for adventure seekers. Paved or Boardwalk trail. Nice if you are a novice or older.

nice facility all around. paved walking/biking trail, more rugged offshoot trails, very nice exercise stations at intervals, picnic pavilions, canoe launch, and more. if you are looking for a good way to spend a few hours, check it out.

Good walking. All paved if you want that and some trails in the sand. Not many animals seen but a great wilderness while walking.

I've been to this park many times over the last ten years. This park is very well maintained, and the trail itself is beautiful. Lots to see, but also lots of people. I would recommend going early in the morning as in the afternoons parking becomes more difficult and the trails get more crowded and louder, driving away most wildlife. I normally walk, but many also bike.

Great natural primitive site but easy to reach. Ok not that primitive, it has a garbage can ,0picnic table and fire ring. We love it! Great accessible real camping, not car camping. LOVED it!

Love this park! Great shaded paved & boardwalk trail that loop & crosses over river. Quiet, great views, and only problem is the .3 loop is older wood. When it rains it gets dangerously slippery, lots of mold and probably needs to be replaced.

Well maintained park with both paved and dirt trails through forest and along the river. The park has plenty of visitors, but there's lots of space so it didn't feel crowded.

Easy trail. Great park. Took the kids and the dog for a walk in the cold days of January in Florida. Perfect fee hours of memories.

Kayaked from here to Lithia Springs park (about 11 miles). Nice, relaxing ride. Gave it a 3 only due to the low water levels when we went (April/May). Otherwise, great time!

Great park for a laid back easy stroll. We liked to walk on the dirt trails better than the paved (about a mile). Wish there were more of those.

Beautiful park with a fairly easy paved trail. It's a 1.8 mile loop with three bridges and a couple stops with bathrooms. The trail has a couple stops with pull up bars, sit up benches and things like that. Mostly under shade too. Good for a relaxing bike ride, but enough hills to keep it entertaining. Perfect for a Saturday after noon and have lunch at a picnic table.

Great little trail. Only 2 dollars for a parking fee at the park. Finished the trail walking fairly slow and taking pictures in about 1.5 hours. Great scenery and it's nice and shaded.

Great easy trail that is totally shaded, a must here in Florida Summer. I frequently take my newborn in the stroller. It also makes a great short run with the two steep bridges over the river.

The park is located on the Alifia river,a donation box is located at the entrnce. There are 2 entrances to the county park. The East side includes a playground, bathrooms, and picnic areas. The westside has the canoe launch, bathrooms and tables as well.
The park has a 1.5 mile paved hiking trail for hikers and bikers. Set under a shaded hammock the trail is pleasant year round even in the hieght of summer. The wildlife I have spotted visiting there includes Gators, racoons, opossums and various species of birds. I have also seen wild boar and deer tracks along the trail.
I launched my Kyak fron Alderman's Ford and followed the river down to Lithia springs park. The trip took about 5 hours. The county has spots along the way to stop, providing picnic tables. AT the beging of the run there are a couple of shallow very small rapids to cross. Not really worth mentioning but the clear water at this end of the Alifia and the Shaded canopy make it a very relaxing and pleasant excursion.
