Winterthur Museum Gardens is a 1.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Wilmington, Delaware that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
Members and visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the estate's 1,000 acres and ten miles of roads. There are many beautifully manicured gardens to enjoy in all seasons. Winterthur's roads, garden paths and mowed trails in the meadow and woodland areas are all excellent walkways. In addition to Winterthur's world-famous museum, the estate grounds encompass gardens, rolling hills, streams, meadows and forests.
