Nice hike. I really enjoyed this one.
An enjoyable park to hike in. We did about five miles, but there are more trails.
Well maintained with lots of wild life. Beautiful.
Great area the trail allows you to walk, bike or horseback. Its well kept, very quiet and has alot of parking and port a pottys at the beginning of the trail. The drive is not toooooo bad from Ocean City, MD, and its less than 2 miles from major stores and gas stations. The park also has a public catch and release pond, camping areas and bbq pits and covered picnic tables.
Nice open trail with some nice side trails cut in been exploring a few times will update.
This is a nice, steady trail through the wooded tract. Redden State Forest actually has several tracts and several trails. Today, we did the 'Headquarters Tract' and its accompanying trail. Around 5 miles, it was sided by small meadows, one full of milkweed blowing as fairies in the sky -- gorgeous! Lots of birds and bugs to look at. Deer scat, but no sign of the deer.
