Glasgow Park Loop Trail is a 2.7 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Newark, Delaware that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
A very easy paved trail in Glasgow County Park.
Really nice walk, next to Park, Workout Area, Dog Park, Skate Park. Lots of people playing the new Pokemon Go Game as well.

great trail to extend your time on the loop
This park is a really nice family park. There is a 3 mile trail paved for running, rollerblading, walking and bike riding. There is also a short loop(maybe 1.5 miles) through the woods. There is an awesome dog park and this park is very pet friendly(we even saw someone walking their potbelly pig). Nice skate park, 4 different parks for children of different ages, tennis courts and basketball courts. There is still open space for soccer, remote controlled cars etc.... Picnic tables and pavilions. There is usually a food truck there and a ice cream truck during busier times. It gets very busy, but it is big.
This place has come a long way over the years. A great place to spend a nice day with the family. It can get very crowded.
Paved, flat 2.6 miles course. Nice for short run or walking. I prefer very early morning. Park gets fairly busy. Great location and community area. Basketball courts, tennis, skate park, play ground, pavilions and plenty of parking. Nice hill for additional training or challenge. Safe park and well maintained. The entire loop has tenth mile markers that I find very useful for interval training.
It's surprisingly quieter and more peaceful than it appears from the main road. It's a full circle paved flat route. In the back corners, you don't even realize you're in a public park. Very safe during the day as there's always people using the trails. Multiple benches/resting points and ability to cutoff the hike half-way through as you park in the middle of the loop.
