Wild Turkey Trail is a 7.9 mile loop trail located near Boulder, CO that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and horses and is accessible from March until October. Horses are also able to use this trail.

This trail starts at theWapiti Trail close to Boulder, CO and leads 2.5 miles to the Ponderosa Trail. Head right on that loop for a short distance until you meet the junction of Wild Turkey Loops. The Wild Turkey Loop then heads right. These trails are located in the Heil Valley Ranch park close to Boulder. This park is beautiful and all of the trails are beautiful. You can see wild turkeys, deer, elk, golden eagles and many different birds. This trail has a mild elevation gain.
