Great drive with tons of hiking trails and a small lake for rec use. Empty of cabins for rent and keep trails that any standard fwd SUV can make it up to get great views of the San Isabel national Forrest.
Wet Mountains scenic drive offers a multitude of activities to do along the drive, let alone the scenery. Their is quite of number of hiking trails accessible from this route through the San Isabel National Forest. Then their is the oddity of Bishop's castle. Also nice for fee camping at Lake Isabel, which can be a nice base camp for the area. Overall, like so many areas in Colorado, a nice area known for its natural beauty and volumes of things to do.
