Washington Park-Highline Canal Ramble is a 2.4 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Denver, Colorado and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and trail running and is accessible from April until October.
It's a great trail to people watch and take an easy stroll.
Nice park for a walk.
Lots of activity. Great short loop for waking or running.
Beautiful area, full of life and activity. My wife and I frequent this little local spot for a relaxing walk!
December 28, 2014, 1 PM: There is plenty of parking and the trails were cleared of the snowfall from a few days before. Though the amenities were closed for the winter, porta-potties were available. You'll want to bring your own sanitizer. We walked around the park with a stroller. Total walk was about 4 miles.
There are several different paths one could take to adjust the length of their hike/jog/run. Several runners and joggers were seen today, and we even came across one man wearing snowshoes.
