Ice Lakes Basin is one of the most beautiful basins in Colorado. And it is extremely easy to access just outside of Silverton. Once up in the basin, you are surrounded by jagged 13ers. Fuller, Vermillion, Golden Horn, Pilot Knob, US Grant, and several others can all be easily climbed from a base camp in Ice Lakes Basin. In the winter/spring, the basin is full of great backcountry ski lines.
