Van Bibber Park Trail is a 5.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Arvada, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Easy day stroll with low overhead.
Nice walk to take the little kids on. It's paved, so not a hike. There are little trails, but again, super easy and not something I would consider a hike or trail running.
Trail has 2 parking lots, one on Indiana (west side of park) and one on Ward Rd (east side/middle of park by the big church). I usually park on the Indiana side (can get muddy in the rain). There are horses training near the parking lot so I enjoy seeing them and can hit the whole loop if I start there. You can go past Ward road all the way to Oak and it makes for a good bike ride as well. On the side of the sidewalk there are some places where there is a little trail so I suppose you could "trail run" and one called the Jimmy Go Loop, which is more trail like, but this is NOT a hike by any means.
It is a nice place to trail run close to home!!:)
Beautiful walk. Paved and clear paths, beautiful tree line in front of houses. Simple walk, first walk I did carrying my then two month old.
five stars for what this is. nicely paved walking trail in a beautiful area surrounded by wild life and green space. great for a walk/run when you don't want to go too far out of town but want to feel like you are with nature. you can choose to veer off the trail onto a dirt trail for variety of a slight challenge.
