Tombstone Nature Loop Trail is a 1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Clark, Colorado that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from March until October.
Easy trail with beautiful mountain and lake views. Good for families.
Trail is open. Short easy hike. Good for kids. Worth the drive from Steamboat for the water views. Two bald eagles on the trail.
This trail has been closed by the State Park because of fallen trees all along the hike. It's still hikeable, but be prepared to climb over a lot of downed trees, and answer to the Park Rangers if they catch you! The views above Steamboat Lake are worth it :-)
