Tabuache Trail is a 2.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Grand Junction, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and mountain biking and is accessible year-round.
This is an amazing trail, filled with sweet rideable (mostly) lines, amazing views and simple desert beauty. The climb up Tabuache is 99% rideable, Lunch Line is a technical burt doable climb and Free Lunch is a child-like smile inducing technical descent rated black/double black diamond. Ride!
I'm an intermediate mountain rider and the trail was well rated (hard); I walked more than I rode because it was very technical... But the view is so nice.
Super fun! Run this almost everyday ! Make sure you get there early , it does tend to get pretty hot around 8ish 9ish . There are also many trails to hike on ! So you're not just stuck with one. Have fun!
Great trail, need to start early gets hot!
