Steamboat Lake State Park Campground is a lightly trafficked trail located near Clark, CO and features a lake. The trail is primarily used for hiking and camping and is accessible from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
It's not a bad hike. The scenery is beautiful. We hiked ~1.5m out and back from the visitor center to the campground. There is about 1/2 mile just on the side of the road which wasn't great. We had limited time so we had to head back. I think a better hike given our time constraint might have been starting at the campground and walking around the lake a bit.
