This isn't an actual trail atleast not where I did it. I entered the south fork where it flows into the main poudre. Near the Dutch gorge campsite. Real pretty, you feel quite secluded. You have to wait across the main river to get to the south fork, because highway 14 is on the wrong side of the river. When I did this in early May it was up to my waist and moving pretty fast, you have to look for a good crossing. There's a few game trails as you go up the canyon, and a few traces of humans, but not much. A really pretty secluded area.
