Nice loop past a fishing hole in Golden Gate Canyon State Park. There's no cell phone service. Trail starts at the Aspen Meadow campground and takes you past Dudes Fishing Hole - a great place to sink a line and relax . You can extend your hike or ride by following the Mule Deer trail to Panorama Point- follow the spur trail near the end of the loop.

It wasn't what we thought it was to be. There looked like a fire was there recently. The hike was not full of scenery but it was good for cardio.

It was fine. Would be a nice walk if you were camping in the area. As a drive-to hiking destination, it was pretty underwhelming.

Easy trail to get to. Lots of beautiful fall colors walking through the aspens. Definitely worth a visit in the fall!

This hike was very easy; just a 3 mile loop that is over pretty quickly. I went back and did the buffalo trail through hidden? valley, with gorgeous views, which was about an extra 1.4 miles to another fishing hole with an old preserved home next to it. So at 5.8 miles, I'd consider it a moderate and great hike.

Great short loop, didn't catch and fish and was using spoons/spinners, however did spot a moose!

Rocky the majority of the trail, but not very "difficult" as it is classified. Very serene and gorgeous hike. We arrived around 3pm and saw only 2 other hikers on the loop. Dogs loved it and passing Dude's Fishing Hole was great!

Moderate hike. Definitely not the best views compared to other trails at the park

Fun hike with my 9 year-old daughter (despite bad weather). We had camped in the Aspen Grove loop. The trails were rocky, but well maintained and very clearly marked. Moderate hike.
