Ruby Anthricite is a 4.8 mile point-to-point trail located near Somerset, Colorado. The trail is rated as moderate and primarily used for hiking.
The views are incredible, and you don't have to do the entire trail to enjoy them, I started at the Ruby Anthracite trailhead and then turned back at the creek. The trail gets VERY steep as you go down into the canyon to reach the creek. I just went in mid-September and the aspens were a phenomenal bright yellow. The other time I went was August and there were lots of beautiful wildflowers. Definitely recommend and will be going again in spring!
