Ridge Trail is a 1.8 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Telluride, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
This trail starts near the bottom of the gondola in Mountain Village, and snakes through a beautiful aspen forest to the top of the gondola. You can ride the free gondola back down, hike back down the Ridge Trail, or connect to one of the many other trails at the top of the gondola.
Nice easy. Good trail run starting at the bottom of the gondola to the tip and back down. Nice inclines
This trail climbs through a beautiful aspen forest. It starts near the bottom of the Gondola in Mountain Village, and ends at the top of the Gondola. Bikes are not allowed, but I like to pedal up the trail because it makes a fun technical climb (the trail was closed to bikes because of downhillers, not because of people pedaling uphill). In the off season when the Gondola is closed, this is the best way to access the other bike trails on the mountain, such as the Village Trail and the Prospect Trail.
