The hike to the top of Raspberry Mountain is a pleasant six mile jaunt (round trip) through the Pike National Forest. The trail is wide and smooth, most of it shaded by tall dark Colorado Spruce. Sentinel Point and the northernmost of the Sibling Spires are visible occasionally about four miles to the south, whetting your appetite for the "Big View" available at the summit, when the Crags, Pike's Peak and the Catamount Reservoirs spread across the horizon's southeastern quadrant. Early morning trekkers will have the best light for views to the north and west as well (and will be less likely to get short changed by storms in the summer).

lovely view at the top. mostly evergreen forest and a stretch alongside a meadow. The trailhead listed on AllTrails appears to now be private property, no parking. I accessed via N 38.88049. W 105.12531.

Easy to find with ample parking in the well marked parking lot. From the Raspberry Mountain lot follow the Ring the Peak trail - per the directions and posts by other people - until the junction that directs you to Raspberry Mountain trail. A little scramble at the very top took us a while to find but was totally worth the fabulous views. A hiking pole was helpful on the steeper scree covered parts of the trail. Perfect autumn hike. Highly recommend. My tracker showed exactly 5 miles for the round trip from the parking lot.

There is absolutely no parking to access this trail. It seems you either have to park at the bottom of the road or at the top. Either would require a one mile walk along a dirt road to access the trail head. Ugh. Lame. The trail head is littered with no parking signs and warnings. We drive to the top and hiked the Crag Trail instead. It was great.

Loved this hike! Beautiful views at the top, worth some of the steeper sections. Took us about 3 1/2 hours (with a picnic at the top). Almost no one around till we headed back down. Some beautiful fall colors still left on the mountainsides. Just be sure you don't turn left at the first unmarked T Junction on the Ring the Peak trail (about a half hour or so in) because it takes you back to the Mennonite Camp. The T Junction for Raspberry Mountain is well marked up a steep little section of trail. Great trail to bring my dog, too!

Beautiful views at the top for Raspberry Mountain. Some pretty steep sections to hike but well worth the effort. New trailhead past the Menonite camp starting on the Ring the Peak trail. The trails are marked for Raspberry Mountain access at the T-junction. The colors were beautiful today and this hike was great.

Completed with my 13 and 9 year old daughters. A little sandy/gravelly, but the incredible view at the top is worth it!

I was used to the old trail, but this one might be better, in terms of views and difficulty (as in, more difficult). New, MUCH larger parking lot is a plus. Follow the Ring the Peak trail around until you hit a T junction with signs pointing left for Raspberry. You join up with the old trail at the top of the (STEEP) hill. General rule of thumb since there's no markers is just stay to the left and wind your way around. Peek-a-boo views from that point on.Arrived shortly after 7am on a Saturday and were the first ones in the lot. Didn't run into anyone until about midway down. PERFECT timing. Still amazing views, highly recommend.

The redesigned (2016) Raspberry Mountain trail is a pleasant, relatively uncrowded hike with a spectacular payoff at the end: Unobstructed 360 degree views.

The new parking area utilizes a large space for the Ring the Peak trail. To reach the trailhead, take State Highway 67 south from Divide. Just past the entrance to Mueller State Park, turn east at the sign for Craggs C. G.

About half a mile in along a dirt road, you will past the old trailhead (closed) where a sign points ahead to: Raspberry Mountain Trail 1.4 miles.

Less than a mile further on, turn right at the Rocky Mountain Mennonite camp (a tiny sign for Raspberry Mountain points to the right.) About a half mile further, you will see the well- marked Ring the Peak (Raspberry Mountain) parking area.

I arrived at 8:30 on a beautiful early September morning, and was surprised to find only one vehicle in the spacious parking area. I ran into only a handful of hikers on the trail.

Much of the trail is along long-abandoned roads. At the top of a steady climb, you will come to a T junction, where the Ring the Peak trail goes right, and a sign directs Raspberry mountain hikers to the left. There are no more signs on the trail after that, but the wide trail is pretty easy to follow. You go pretty much straight up, with few switchbacks.

When you reach the giant boulders at the top, circle all the way around to the left until you find paths to the top.

Enjoy the panoramic views!!!

Great hike. Hard to find at first. After you get onto 67 you want to go until you see sign for craggs c.g. Turn left drive a little til you see sign saying raspberry mountain 1.4 miles. Once you get to Mennonite camp turn right. Don't drive past the office. You want to turn right before the office. Then you will drive a little ways down and the parking lot will be on the left. You have to hike on ring the peak trail for a ways. You go through a forest then come to a road. Go to the right. Follow the path through the Meadow and then there will be more paths up to where raspberry mountain access is. Then it's a straight shot from there. Amazing hike. Worth the effort. About 45 minutes up 30 down. So fun.

Such a beautiful trail. The view at the top is incredible. I will indeed be doing this trail again :)
At the start I do agree, it can be confusing.

This trail has recently been modified - no longer able to start from the old trail head - no parking and trail closed.

You now start on Ring the Peak trail for about 2 miles - then take a new section of trail over and finish up on Raspberry Mountain Trail. Ring the Peak trail can be easy to get lost on at the very beginning - we weren't the only ones lost at the start today!

Great view on the top! About 3 miles each way on the modified trail.
