The hike to the top of Raspberry Mountain is a pleasant six mile jaunt (round trip) through the Pike National Forest. The trail is wide and smooth, most of it shaded by tall dark Colorado Spruce. Sentinel Point and the northernmost of the Sibling Spires are visible occasionally about four miles to the south, whetting your appetite for the "Big View" available at the summit, when the Crags, Pike's Peak and the Catamount Reservoirs spread across the horizon's southeastern quadrant. Early morning trekkers will have the best light for views to the north and west as well (and will be less likely to get short changed by storms in the summer).

Great hike. Hard to find at first. After you get onto 67 you want to go until you see sign for craggs c.g. Turn left drive a little til you see sign saying raspberry mountain 1.4 miles. Once you get to Mennonite camp turn right. Don't drive past the office. You want to turn right before the office. Then you will drive a little ways down and the parking lot will be on the left. You have to hike on ring the peak trail for a ways. You go through a forest then come to a road. Go to the right. Follow the path through the Meadow and then there will be more paths up to where raspberry mountain access is. Then it's a straight shot from there. Amazing hike. Worth the effort. About 45 minutes up 30 down. So fun.

Such a beautiful trail. The view at the top is incredible. I will indeed be doing this trail again :)
At the start I do agree, it can be confusing.

This trail has recently been modified - no longer able to start from the old trail head - no parking and trail closed.

You now start on Ring the Peak trail for about 2 miles - then take a new section of trail over and finish up on Raspberry Mountain Trail. Ring the Peak trail can be easy to get lost on at the very beginning - we weren't the only ones lost at the start today!

Great view on the top! About 3 miles each way on the modified trail.

Decent length trail, but the path is wide and easy to follow. Great view from the top makes it all worth it. Occasional views on the way up, but the real sights are from the peak.

Trail was closed 6/12/2016 for removal of dead trees. Sounds like it has been closed for two weeks, not sure when it will reopen. I'm sure this is a beautiful trail, will try it again later this summer.

I love this trail, not too hard. The view never disappoints. The weather was pretty perfect, minus the cool breeze. We did the hike early so that's probably why it was a little cold. Otherwise amazing, I would recommend this to anyone with kids, pets, or beginners.

3 miles to the top, moderate trail with good elevation gain on a clear/obvious trail. Occasional peaks at some views along the way, but the payoff is all at the top. 360 degrees of stunning views for miles! February trail is snow packed with minimal ice...advise yaktraks or spikes.

A difficult hike as it's steep most of the way up (and even on some parts on the way back down), but when you get to the top, it's beautiful. Look for the turn that has a sign for the Crags. It's on the same road.

Beautiful 360 degree views from the top. Elevation change of 1300 feet. Most difficult part of the hike was parking!

A nice hike. Views at the top are spectacular. Bring some bug spray and lots of water. Quiet and peaceful - passed one couple when we were going up, a group and a couple coming down.

Saw a young black bear coming down about a mile to a mile and a half from the trail head. He saw us and ran away.

I'd hike this trail again.

Not "Easy"…and a very boring trail. The view at the top is worth the climb!

Amazing 360 degree views. Trail is technically a small road for first half of the hike.
