wonderful little hike. the dirt road getting there was a bit tricky since it was wet and muddy from a night of rain. I fell once on the rocks next to the falls so be careful it is slippery.

Awesome. Short but great for tourists and people who can't do anything too challenging.

Super easy, beautiful falls. We have been about six times in the last year and it never gets old. Usually lots of tourists, but still gorgeous.

A short hike but who cares? The setting is fantastic with Ponderosa Pine and Aspen forest. The trail is easy but the falls make a fantastic setting for just wanting to sit and spend some time in nature.

Pretty easy, short trail to falls. There were a few spots that seemed washed out when I was there, so watch your footing. Nice waterfall, really nice views of mountains along the way. I was there late in the day (6:30 pm) and no one was there.

Fun, easy hike for all ages with only a couple of places for careful footing.

It's an easy hike and worth stopping at if you're in the area. If the water is low, you can use stones and logs as stepping stones to cross the river and get great pictures of the falls :)

You access this trail from Pagosa Springs. About a 30 mile drive on decent county roads accessible via 2 wheel drive. So not sure why the overview states Creede. It's only a 10 minute hike out and another 10 back, but you will stay for at least 20 minutes taking pictures, if not longer soaking in the water. Long drive for a short hike but totally worth it for the pictures. The elevation gain and loss from my Garmin was 136 feet for each, not the 60 feet in a description from my hiking guide. No difference really. A very old woman hiked it with her cane. This is a great hike for kids. Plenty of camping at the trail head too.
