Relatively new trail system near Golden. A good trail if you want something short and relatively easy. This is a relatively new trail system just built north of downtown Golden. It is fairly short and nontechnical but does offer a climb and some singletrack. It's a good ride if you are short on time and want something easy.
Not a bad trail but much easier than I thought after the initial incline.
Hiked this the day after Christmas. Pretty icy but beautiful scenario. I'd say the hike is easy; but moderate do to the ice.
Nice views of Denver and part of Golden. A bit windy and muddy today but nonetheless fun !
Not the most interesting trail compared to surrounding Denver-area trails, but still pretty neat. I can appreciate North Table Mountain due to its cool creation story, leftover lava flows leaving a big flat shelf behind, making it unique and distinctly different than the surrounding mountains. The first climb up is the steepest and most difficult segment of the trail. Up top there's a wide open plain to wander around on, take in the views from the surrounding edges. A pretty nice trail to go for an afternoon stretch or to work up a sweat on a run. I think my phone registered 4 miles from the loop we made, which wasn't even close to all the park.
Love this trail! There are some tough inclines but overall quite a great place to hike. Views of downtown, horse farms, lots of deer at the top. I do this hike a few times a week with my dog- she loves it too!
Put out mountain. That should be the name of this trail. You literally hike straight up for a good 15 to 20 minutes, and I mean straight up. If you are looking for a quick calorie burn, this is the place. Once you get about halfway up, it is very easy. You basically coast to the top. At the top, very cool views.
