Beautiful hike with great views of Golden, Coors Plant and Denver. Great rock formations and lots of animal trails. Take a lunch and have a picnic.

Great hike, beautiful views on the city for part of the hike and of the surrounding mountains for the other part. First hike I've done in Colorado so can't compare to other area hikes but as far as hikes go in general it was a good one. Not too strenuous, easy to get to, a mix of paths and rock stairs, there were a handful of joggers on the cedar part of the trail but mount Galbraith loop was pretty quiet. Encountered a herd of bighorn sheep on the loop which was pretty cool to see.

This is my usual go to in the summer for a quick hike but the back end of the trail once you reach the top is not well marked at all- so be careful if you are not doing the reverse full loop. Ice/snow were super minimal... I had reg hiking boots and my pup and didn't have issues. There are a few patches and mud, but that's the usual so bring poles if you need more support. But people.. please clean up after your dogs, it was pretty sad to see some are not.

I only recommend this trail if you're going in PERFECT weather conditions. When we went, it was somewhat windy on the ground, but once we got to the top, it was unbearable and super dangerous with the icy rocks/trail. I'm going to try it again in the summer and hopefully it'll be a lot more smooth!

Great hike this morning. Snow packed trail in some areas, so very glad to have my Yak-Traks. Great views all the way. Would rate as moderate, but it won't kill you. Just take your time and enjoy it.

Hike was great, but watch out for ice. A lot of the trail is covered in ice, but fine if you have a good pair of hiking boots. It'd be smart to have a pair of crampons, but not 100% necessary.

Took about 2 hours. Beautiful hike. Pretty views. Not too easy not too hard. Good for beginners but I wouldn't take my kids. Couple slippery spots. Great afternoon with a couple friends. Will do it again.
