Lily Lake is a 0.8 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Estes Park, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is accessible from May until November.
Very busy trail, but beautiful and worth stopping. If you have the time, take the Lily Lake Ridge spur off to the north side of the lake--it adds only a little time to the walk but takes the hiker up high for beautiful vistas you don't get from down below.
Nice easy trail great views!
I'm giving this a 5-star because this is my first Estes Park area hike. We went over the Lily Ridge Trail. Beautiful day! Beautiful fall colors and weather. Only down side is "no dogs." I'm sure there is a good reason but it was a disappointment for us.
Easy hike for the family. Close to Hwy 7, so road noise is apparent.
Took the ridge trail. Great easy hike with beautiful views.
Beautiful lake and trail !
Relaxing and fun!
Nice easy loop
This is a nice place to spend an afternoon. The walk around the lake is easy. The meadows have a nice array of flowers in the summer.
Great! Added Lily Ridge for another 45 min of hiking. Fantastic views .
South Lake route was closed, had to take the longer loop. Took Lilly Ridge trail and got some great views of long's peak and mount meeker. The ridge trail has some large steps and some steep parts. Still an easy hike though. Lots of bugs here.
5/16/16 completed this one after lily mountain. rain and snow made a come back and by the 2/3rds part the lake disappeared from cloud clover. good for all ages
