Leche Creek Trail

DIFFICULTY 2 reviews

Leche Creek Trail is located near Pagosa Springs, CO. The trail is primarily used for hiking.

Mostly in trees and through some open meadows. Connects with several other trails for a shuttle. Gravel forest roads are well maintained so 4 wheel drive not required.

The other review is incorrect when 'NavajoTrail' is mentioned as trail head!
AllTrails could be great/helpful app--but I can't figure out why there are so many of these types of errors(!?) are they fake reviews? are the reviewers purposely adding false information?
In the case of this trail--it can be done as a loop w/2car shuttle via Blanco Road using Leche Trail and Opal Lake TH---Navajo Trail is accessed via same mtn range(Chalk) but is Not the Leche Trail!!
I don't know how to solve this problem---and I would like to use the app+'upgrade' to maps/GPS --but I can't trust information+currently only use to get 'an idea' of trails...

Easy hike through old growth Aspen and scenic meadows. A few nice views when not in the trees. Grade is rarely steep but trail s fairly long at 9 miles if doubling as an out and back. You can shuttle 2 cars using the Navajo Trail trailhead for an eleven mile hike.
