Last Dollar 4x4 Road is a 20.6 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Placerville, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

Wonderful family SUV trip This scenic ranchland and forest backroad is a great alternative to the paved drive between Ridgway and Telluride. You'll see abundant wildflowers through early summer, great fall color and stunning mountain views. Enjoy camping, hiking and mountain biking. Unlicensed vehicles are allowed on this road. Plan plenty of time to visit Telluride, a great summer destination. Be prepared for congestion in town during frequent special events. Information can be found at the visitor center on the west end of town. High Point 10,600 ft. Best time to go: Mid June-Sept. Located in Uncompahgre National Forest. Slick clay can be impassable when wet even for 4-wheel-drive vehicles.
