We walked through the Knight's Trail as an alternative to the Roaring Creek Trail (both start around the same trailhead) as Roaring Creek was a verticle challenge while the Knights Trail is more like a pretty stroll. There is little elevation gain - however, you should be sure-footed as the tumble from the trail goes directly into the like and it seems like it would be none-too-fun the way down. We only went out about 2 miles and turned around, but the entire trail goes all the way to Grand Lake!
