Hall Ranch Loop is a 9.5 mile loop trail located near Longmont, CO. The trail is rated as moderate and primarily used for trail running.
Obnoxious mountain bikers allowed. Don't bother hiking here. Same for most Boulder County open space. The bikers control it all. Sucks for hikers.
Great for mountain biking. Not as good for hiking. I prefer going hiking in this area at Heil Valley Ranch on US 36 close to Lyons.
Started at Nighthawk to Nelson and finished with Bitterbrush. Lots of wildlife. Deer, birds, prairie dogs. Beautiful open scenery. A lite challenge but worth every step.
Just past Lions right side of Hwy 7. Trail was awesome. My 8 and 5 year old boys went. The 5 yo had to be carried about 1.5 miles. Pretty views.
Trail map is way off. Trail head is located off hwy 7 outside of Lyons.
Trail was great for spring weather. Pretty exposed trail.
