Hadley Gulch Trail is a 8.4 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near New Castle, Colorado that offers scenic views and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible from May until November.
The first mile of the trail slopes moderately, but becomes more rocky and difficult as it enters the gulch and increases in elevation. The trail is mainly in oak brush and pinon/juniper with some willow and aspen vegetation types along the trail. Excellent wildlife viewing.
