Hadley Gulch Trail is a 8.4 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near New Castle, Colorado that offers scenic views and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from May until November.
The first mile of the trail slopes moderately, but becomes more rocky and difficult as it enters the gulch and increases in elevation. The trail is mainly in oak brush and pinon/juniper with some willow and aspen vegetation types along the trail. Excellent wildlife viewing.
Beautiful and pretty walking trail! The path is nice for feet, at least the first third, distance-wise... bring dogs and water bottle! Click on the photo we just got up!
Hard steep trail to nowhere. Good workout but heavily trafficked bear trail.
