Gray Back Peak Trail is a 3.3 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Colorado Springs, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until November. Dogs and horses are also able to use this trail.
Beautiful hike all the way through. Trailhead is to the left of the horse trail sign on Forest Service Rd. 371, but isn't very clearly marked otherwise. The first half is uphill most of the way to the turnaround point. This is my new favorite spot close to Colorado Springs.
Good Trail to be out away from the world.
