North side of the lake was closed off, that is why I gave it a 3. Great shaded hike. Cool looking dam. A lot of fowl around. After hiking we took a kayak on the lake, $4.00 fee to put your boat in the water.
Easy walking trail around the lake. This was a perfect walk for a 94 degree day. Nice breeze, beautiful views, and quite a few shady spots.
it's ok for an accessible lake near Denver. But the trails could be a bit nicer. There are parts where you're directly beneath power lines for a portion of the bike and others where the trail is literally next to the road.
Easy walk and there's usually Elk in the water this time of year. It's packed on the weekends. Not sure why Ben Wilson thought it was necessary to posts pictures of other trails on this but I'll snap some pics next time I'm there.
This is a nice easy stroll around the lake. The highlights are the wild life in and around the lake in such a populated area. The water coming over the spill way is awesome
A nice stroll around a very pretty lake. The only annoying part is the walk down the spillway and back up the other side but not a big deal. Can be very crowded but Evergreen is a great town and a great place to grab a bite to eat afterward.
