off road driving
beautiful nature. the trail was easy for my jeep but would have done a bit of damage to my low clearance SUV. I took the trail fairly fast and it was a lot of fun bouncing around in the jeep and splashing through puddles (there was a light rain storm just before we headed out). there are some camping spots up there but no toilets or water or anything, so if you camp you have to bring all your own stuff. watch out around blind turns, as other vehicles may be coming at you.
First off-road adventure with the new Jeep. Made it about 10 miles before the mud gave us second thoughts. Will return in the summer.
Easy 4x4 trail... Fun, winding, and lots of hills. It's a 4x4 trail that really does not need 4wD. Lots of great camping! Trail is used also for non licensed vehicles, so beware around blind corners!
Great ride- easy, laid back , and nice views
Easy beginner trail for Stock vehicles. Close to Denver Metro area. Good views of Rampart Range and can connect to rampart range road on FR503&FR502
