Nice relaxing walk with informative stops along the way. Yes, it's very easy and short, but if you pass it by because of this, you won't get lucky like we were and see a mother moose and her calf along the way.
Very short and flat hike. Lots of beetle damage but the leaves on the aspens were changing. Didn't see any wildlife except for some trout in the river.
It was short and sweet. Good wildlife viewing!
A good trail for snowshoeing in the winter. Went out and was completely alone on the trail. Unfortunately no wildlife, but a great trail nonetheless.
Very easy hike. Unfortunately we didn't see any elk or moose.
Very easy trail, short, has a large meadow for wildlife viewing. Has a restroom in the parking area.
Five stars for a short, level, well maintained out-and-back trail. Great views. We completed this walk in conjunction with a ranger program. Fun for children.
My Fiance her son (who has autism) and I hiked this trail and went a little past the end of the maintained trail. we saw a Cow Moose and her calf. did some scoping out for future fly fishing. very easy hike
Nice easy walk at the end of the day. Great place to watch sun set and the elk come into the valley in fall.
I love this trail when I am just wanting to take it easy. Very level, flat and well maintained trail. This is a great hike for people just wanting to relax.
