Green Mountain Trail is a 5.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Sedalia, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible from March until October.
This hike is extremely difficult to get to, it's not well marked, and you have to drive for over 5 miles on an extremely bumpy dirt road that was so hard on tires. I absolutely do not recommend this hike.
Very popular section of Colorado trail because of lack of strenuous sustained climbs and overall well maintained singletrack.(1650 vertical all tolled).$5 trailhead (little Scraggly Peak) fee. Beautiful scenery, trails well marked. Green Mt. trail is a loop best done counterclockwise, so pass the 1st entrance. Many trails intersect so watch for correct route. Lots of scenic overlooks. Bathroom at trailhead.
