Cheesman Park and Seventh Avenue is a 1.5 mile loop trail located near Denver, Colorado and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, trail running, and snowshoeing and is accessible year-round.
Great city park near downtown. Sidewalk area is open to joggers and walkers only. Bikes only permitted on the road. Many times of the year, they close the park to cars just to let the people enjoy without worrying.
Just the right amount of local park.
Nothing too scintillating scenery-wise, an urban park with paved and gravel trail options for foot traffic, and some nice surrounding neighborhoods allow you to extend your jaunt further, if you would like a change in scenery. That said, Cheesman Park is prime people-watching and seems to gather people from all over Denver, and the green is very pleasant. I'd recommend you stay off the gravel path if you're walking as the runners prefer it.
