Great hike, worth the workout to the peak. Trail clear, beautiful park.
Nice trails. In the morning mostly shade covered. Be prepared for lots of company. Popular with mountain bikers and trail runners.
very beautiful and scenic and a nice moderate walk
Shade, changing levels, nice view!
Great for trail running.
Great day. Started out pretty hot in the meadow but some nice tree coverage and cloud cover higher up. I would disagree with prior posts as this trail was pretty open to the sun at least 50% of the time. Beautiful views at the top and well worth the extra 2 miles. Will definitely come back again-on a cooler day perhaps.
Very nice hike. Very pleasant, scenic and diverse. We enjoyed ourselves!
My kind of hike! Lots of shaded trees and forestry. Plenty of places to picnic and not too crowded. Went at 2pm.
This was an amazing hike. Lots of beautiful energy in that mountain if you can be present for it. I went Saturday morning and arrived by 630 am-there were 2 other cars. Took me 4 hrs to summit and make back down... there were easily over 100 cars and no parking left. Get there early! Plus, if you get there early it feels like it's just you and the mountain. Lots of hummingbird and other bird activity. Excellent way to start the day.
