Beautiful trail with a beautiful overlook of horsetooth reservoir.
Overall, a good hike to get the hear rate up. The trail was quite icy on the beginning. It was fine going up but coming down was treacherous. Would definitely recommend poles or cleats or both!
Great trail if you're looking for some good outdoor exercise but don't have a lot of time. 1.7 miles to the summit, basically all uphill.
Love this hike! It's one of my favorites when I want to go for a local hike near Fort Collins. Nice easy trail with spectacular views! Would recommend boot traction cleats for this time of year.
Climbing around the rock is fun, the hike has its moments as well. Can get busy on days with nice weather.
Fun hike except we went on a busy day. Would like to hike it again without the busy day. Great hike with beautiful view. 1st part of hike gentle incline up to 1st major viewpoint. Last section of hike little more incline. Last 100yds or so much steeper but view is really great on top.
Beautiful! Amazing views. We did a 5 mile loop.
