Arapaho Pass Trail (west side) is a 18.6 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Granby, CO that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible from June until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Directions from Granby: Follow Highway 40 west to Highway 34. Go north on Hwy 34 to Forest Road 125, on the south end of Lake Granby. Follow 125 east to the Monarch Lake Trailhead. Hike the Southside Trail around Monarch Lake to the Arapaho Pass Trail.

Overnight thru-hike from Monarch Lake to Fourth of July Trail.
Started at Monarch Lake Trailhead and obtained backcountry permit.
Took Arapaho Pass 12 miles to Caribou Lake for camp.
9 miles out the next day.
We crossed the Continental Divide via Arapaho Trail.
Met up with Fourth of July Trail back home.
