Small trail close to I-25. Meanders around a few lakes that are also popular for fishing and include benches beside the water.
It was pretty, but not a lot shaded so my dog got a little hot. It was very easy and nice views of the lake. I could hear the highway very clearly, but the path itself was very uncrowded and peaceful.
Alright just to go get out of house, nothing amazing you can hear i25 the whole trail. Still nice views.
Beautiful views of the mountains and ponds. Lots of bugs, birds, toads, and rabbits. SO MANY RABBITS. Noise from I-25 is present, but not horrible. We enjoyed it.
Great little trail minus the noise of traffic.
An easy trail meandering around some ponds, you can vary the length and time of your walk by taking different loops. Pretty views of the water but also road-noisy due to being so close to the interstate.
Because of its proximity to it, you can hear the Highway through most of the trail. The noise is probably the biggest downer of the walk. There are lots of trails you can use to make the walk shorter or longer, and it's really nice to be close to the water. There aren't many trees along the trail away from the ponds so shade is a bit hard to come by! Nice views of the water and very peaceful though!
