Gorgeous falls set deep in the side of Mt Princeton. [CLOSED because of a dangerous rockslide] From the trailhead it is easy to find the well labeled trail that will lead you up to the falls. Though this trail is short, it does gain a fair amount of elevation, so take your time. Bring water as well, since this area is very arid and the valley can get pretty hot in the summer. When you near the falls you will likely see signs not to climb around on the rocks or approach the falls to closely as rock fall is a common occurrence here. I say you will likely see a sign because about once a year the sign in crushed or buried in a rock fall, so heed the warning. These falls flow best in the spring, but by late summer or fall in dry years will stop flowing at all.

Very easy hike to do. It's a tragedy what happened there. Very beautiful area.

Looks to be closed indefinitely....

Closed? Ridiculous, Why not close all of the trails in Colorado then? Mountains don't care about human safety.

yes, a very pretty area, but as you may have heard....a pretty dangerous one too. Major tragedy this week there. It is unclear if they will reopen it. lots of support in the community to close it permanently

Now closed because of rockslide. Quite lovely, particularly near the end. Gorgeous waterfall.

We did this as a family hike with my parents and children. This is a pretty short hike with some vertical, overall this is an easy hike until the end where there are some rocky and steep sections. My parents made it the whole way, but was a bit slow going at the top. This is a great family hike with a good waterfall at the end.

Wonderful, moderate trail that is in and out of shade. Waterfall was lovely. Easily done in an hour.

Great hike. Falls not following too much yet, but I bet they will be soon!

Very nice trail with markers along the way that tell of the history.
Easy hike for someone who does not hike much or who may be a little out of shape.
I went late in the year so the waterfall was not flowing as good as it probably would be in Spring

Great, easy hike! Starts off as a trail, but as you get closer to the falls there is a little more hiking involved. We took a picnic and had lunch before heading back!

This trail is a steady uphill grade but only a half mile to the falls. On the particular day I went (middle of June) the falls were beautiful. Also, depending on how adventurous you feel, you can scramble up some rocks for different views of the falls. Well worth the trip!

This is a great hike. Very pretty, and oppurtunity for rock scrambling at the end, if one is up to explore a little. When hiking it, it always seems longer then "advertised".

Beautiful in early May with lots of snow on the surrounding Peaks. Last part of trail requires some scrambling over rocks.
