This is actually a pretty awesome trail. No need to do the complete loop. Just up to the Palms is the best part of this trail. Sadly enough majority of the Palms are burnt but still interesting to see. If you decide to continue to the loop trail, you'll only get disappointed, because there's no shade and it's just another typical view of the desert. Best to stay at the Palm tree area and soak up the environment. Since this is in the city of Thousand Palms. When you park your car, make sure to hide any valuables. Vehicles have been broken into at this trail. The same goes if you're going to Pushwalla Trail a mile away from here.
