Went in the winter. Backpacked it in way further than this shows. Not sure we were allowed to camp as we didn't really see any developed sites but it was a rainy / snowy miserable weather no one around to bug us! Follows the river

My kids (3 and 5) had so much fun! We easily found the creek and loved the log bridge. We also loved the little meadows of wild flowers. They loved climbing on the boulders. Great trail!

Whisky Flat Trail is a 14 mile point-to-point trail. The trailhead is located in Kernville. The trail parallels the west bank of the Kern River. It terminates upriver at Fairview.
