A bit washed out with recent rain but great short hike!!
Such perfect views, amazing trail. Pretty good workout .. best views from the top!
Steep. Don't go if knee issues otherwise the view is worth it
Dude, this is an AMAZING hike. LOVE this trail and always enjoyed the journey as much as the destination. Yeh, it's short and steep in sections and some people run up and others walk slowly taking breaks along the way. Standing on the top is totally style no matter what your mood, time of day, the weather, or alone or with good company. Headed down, suggest to stop and smell the wild fennel...ha. Keep walking down the street and hit Papa's Tacos too. If I have time, I'm going across the street to Table Rock Beach. So grateful to be here and be alive. #CountingBlessings.
I love this hike because all the way down the hill its a view but you need to park in laguna beach on valido street and then climb up the mountain all the way till u reach the neighborhood at the very top which is laguna niguel. You can enter and park from the top or the bottom, but I suggest doing the uphill climb for a work out and then enjoying the view all the way down and going to the midway point and sit on the bench where this trail map shows it leads. Instead of stopping just midway climb all the way up for a higher view and better workout! It will be more like two miles! Be careful on the way down and this hike is really tiring due to a steep climb
Totally worth the climb. Best view
Steep, but a great climb. Totally worth it! The ocean breeze kept me cool and the view was spectacular!
Valido trail is my sanctuary hike, I see people parking at the trail head to hike this beautiful trail. It is a must if in the area.
Fun. Great views
Wonderful casual hike
The trail near the canes and Le conte does not continue along the Le Conte side. There are houses blocking the supposed trails. Map should be updated
About a 400 ft elevation gain. Incredible view from the top of the ocean and Laguna.
Amazing trail, difficult at times
It's anice, it is challenging for like .5 miles of it, not much shade but it is a very nice view of Laguna beach. It's perfect for a beginner who wants to start getting on difficult trails. There are rattlesnakes we heard them. It is pretty secluded. I'd do it again to see a sunrise or sunset. Take the 133 if driving from the OC TrafFic is really bad! When leaving around 4-6pm I did it today left at 420pm got home at 6 and I live in Santa Ana.
