poorly marked narrow trail al along pretty Mountain stream. They are doing some kind of wetlands restoration so the return trip is along a dirt road. overall a pretty easy hike and Scenic Meadows some of the areas are cordoned off but we've followed through anyway
trail is closed till October 2016
Winding trail so not great for small kids, and muddy at times, but it was pretty technical for older kids.
More of a walk than a hike but lots of room for the dogs to run. Some very nice views along the river and lots of flowers in the wide open meadows. Worth the time for a nice, fairly quiet walk.
Very easy and very picturesque. Towards the end you will hear a small airport's noise, but not too disturbing.
We are from Texas and found this trail to run on while we are in town for Americas Most Beautiful Bike Ride - it was great! Very pretty and not too populated. The trail at some points was skinny, which made it a bit difficult to run on, but not bad at all. I wish it went closer to the river, but you do see several spots of the water with breathtaking views. Overall very nice!! :)
I love this trail the river is beautiful I try to hike it everyday.
Easy hike with awesome scenery of the Sierra NVs.
