Great views and awesome workout!!!!!!!
This was a great walk aided by a costal eddy that kept us cool. Its a great climb and lots of different terrain with a cute walk between the two parks to finish.
Loved it! This has multiple terrain and wonderful views. Hiked in June and fortunate to have had fog and overcast sky's.
I good long hike, lots off walking up and down hills. Bring food and water, this will take you a while.
If my scale was mt baldy being a 10 and runyon being a 1 i would rate this hike as a 5. Nice views. Easy to access and can do in less than 5 hrs. Not a lot of shade.
Dogs are NOT allowed after the first half mile of the hike.
Good walk. Nothing difficult. Trail very pretty on way back. Note that path closed at loop just after turnoff to Temascal Canyon - need to take turnoff about 400 yards before. Took just under 5 hours - Sunset to Sunset.
This was a great hike. Would definitely do it again.
I took a wrong trail which totaled to 16 miles. The backbone portion is very boring.
It was definitely not an easy hike. About 80% sun so me choosing to start at 2pm.... Not ideal lol. Anyway. Easy to find and start. I'd recommend starting at will Rodgers and looping out of Temescal and back to will Rodgers.
Great views. Definitely the Temescal Canyon road less traveled.
Nice trail provides shade along segments and some sections with quick elevation gain/loss,
