Very hard trail to decipher! Does need some love. Still, exceptional views! Only hiked 7.4 miles

This trail is in need of some serious maintenance from Crawford Rd to the Western Divide Hwy and even from there to the wilderness TH as there are many downed snags and brushy in some places.

I have backpacked in from the Summit Trailhead, east of Camp Nelson, to Mowery Meadow and on to Maggies Lakes. See Maggie Lakes review. Mowery Meadow is a wonderful place to camp and down the hill is a good place to fish for Golden Trout.
