Statue Lake Trail is a 5.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Forks of Salmon, California that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from May until December.
Directions from Sawyers Bar: Travel east on County Hwy. 1C01 for approximately seven miles. Turn east onto Forest Service Rd 40N54 at the Idlewild Campground. Follow this road for approximately ten miles to the Music Creek Trailhead.
Awesome scenery - you won't be disappointed. Moderate off trail climb at the end into to the lake.
