Sonora Pass to Latopie Lake is a 9.7 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Arnold, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is only recommended for very experienced adventurers. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from June until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The country around and above Sonora Pass is sublime. Few other Sierra trailheads along the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) launch the hiker into such vast, wild grandeur within so short a walking distance from the road head. Wilderness permits required for overnighters.
