Sequoia Bayview Trail is a 2.9 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Oakland, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
This wide, level trail is the most popular in the park. Lots of joggers, mountain bikers, dog walkers. There are a few patches of redwoods, but the trail is mostly non-redwood forest. Ends at the horse arena, features lots of other trails to turn onto and explore
I did this trail, and a few others in the network, this morning. I gave it 5 stars because it's a super awesome network of trails I definitely did not expect based on its location. It's a multi use area so expect to see mountain bikes and possibly horses as well. I came across almost every kind of terrain for all skill levels with amazing views to boot! I highly suggest it if you're in the area
Easy trail for young kids, beautiful forrest views, bring layers since you're mostly in the shade. dog friendly.
I'm a new trail rider and it was just enough to keep you pushing but not to difficult to make you not like what your doing. Beautiful scenery and the people on the trails are all considerate.
Perfect for a hot day! The dogs loved having the creek to take a break in.
