A great experience; we strolled around the valley floor after our day up Half Dome. It was a great way to stretch the muscles and easy on the knees. We visited a week before the Presidential visit so in early morning we had the inner valley much to ourselves. The deep blue sky, the light greens of the new leaves on the trees and grasses of the valley, the clear waters of the Merced River, the roaring white showers of snow melt over Yosemite Falls, and the granite walls of the surrounding cliffs made for some great contrasts. If you have the time, it's a great way to enjoy the majesty of God's country.

I hiked this one about fifteen years ago, but still memorable. A great photo opportunity. I remember it was a bit crowded in Summer when I last went.

This is more of a stroll than a hike but man, is it worth it. It's a short loop that takes you through a few meadows to witness the essentials of Yosemite Valley. Everywhere you look is 360 degrees of awesome. Just beware of crowds and mosquitoes depending on the time of year.

Gorgeous view of the Yosemite Valley floor! A walk more than a hike, which makes it a good way to take in some absolutely stunning scenery without stressing your body. Suitable for people at all levels of physical shape.
